I have soaked them in warm water and they grow great leaves. They are in a sunny window which they love. How do I get them to grow beautiful flowers?

I transplanted them into large containers and give them plenty of water and sunlight. The leaves and stems are green and healthy. If I snip off the dead flowers will new ones bloom this season?

The dirt in my backyard is hard not leveled and you feel like your going to fall over when walking on it. Also, no matter how much I pull the weeds in the backyard and spray weed killer, they still come back for an encore. I was thinking of flipping the dirt over to make the ground more level as well as prevent weeds from making a come back and to plant flowers. Is this a good way to achieve this goal or does anyone have better advice?

I am planting eastern red cedars, rosa rugosa and coneflowers but I’m trying to add more native, bee friendly flowers to my yard.
Thanks
Thanks for the answers. I tried the first link but couldn’t find the county by county listing but lots of other interesting links.
I never thought of asking a florist–good idea, though
Thank you both!
