I mean CHEAP. Very tight budget. We can arrange them ourselves… my sister is GREAT at arranging flowers. Any ideas appreciated.

Where do you cut flowers on the stem?

Matteo asked:

I have:
1. Sunflowers
2. Daisies
3. Carnations
4. Zinnias
5. Baby’s Breath
6. Bachelor’s Buttons

Is there a GENERAL place to cut these flowers for bouquets, etc, on the stem? Like I heard for roses you need to cut three leaves down or something? What about these flowers I have listed? Where do I cut them?
I’m not talking about cutting a bouquet of flowers, I’m talking about cutting them from my garden. Kthx.

I am doing research for Earth Day and was wondering if anyone knew what the reason is for flowers to exist in nature besides beautifying the Earth. Thanks for any info.

ツ & ♥ asked:

To start off, I live in Minnesota. Today we had a beautiful day, it was atleast 75 degrees and sunny. But anyway, I wanted to plant some sort flower in a fairly large pot to keep in my room. I can give it sunlight (my room faces the sun and it is always sunny!). So what are some pretty flowers that live well in these conditions?
