Normally I use flowers that are already grown early/mid june and plant them but this year I wanted to plant seeds. Can anyone tell me when the best time to do this is?

We are friends and he is recovering from heart surgery and I know he likes flowers so that’s something I’d like to take but don’t know what would look prettiest and have less pollin or allergy causing reactions for someone in ICU.

I just planted hundreds of flowers thinking it was after the last full moon and I would be safe. There saying it will be in the 20’s tonight and am afraid that I will lose all of them. Should the material lay on the flowers or be up like a tent?

We cannot drink the water. It was not recommended anyway by a water purification company. We buy gallons of water to cook with and drink. Apparently the well water has a high sulfur content in it and we cannot consume it.
Can I water my outdoor plants with it being it does come from the same ground the plants and flowers grow in?

My daughter wants to have a flower pot garden on our patio, and that’s fine with me, but i know i kill everything i put out there, and i **** to disappoint her right off the bat! So are there some flowers that can take the heat better than others? i never know how much to water or how often, and sturdier flowers just stand a better chance with us!

When I was growing up in the Washington, DC area, there was a tree that had large, pink/purple, tulip like flowers in the spring. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is?
I’m not sure if it’s a tulip tree. The pictures of tulip trees I’ve found all have yellow flowers that are more open than what I remember.

I am moving into a new home at the end of the month. Come spring time I am going to have a lot of yard work to do. The yard has some nasty bushes in the yard that are getting pulled up. I am going to planet a tree, but I don’t know what flowers I am going to plant. I want to plant some roses but I am not sure yet. Any ideas to help me?
