I’m planning my first trip to Japan and I would like to be there during that week (between April and May) where white flowers blossom somewhere in Japan. Does anyone know what is that week for 2008?
Also, if you can give me tips for affordable accomodations

I have 288 total square yards to plant and I’m wondering if there’s some kind of general rule for coverage per flat. The flowers will be planted about 6″ apart. I need to know how many flats to get a price for, but I don’t want my landscaper to know I’m going out to bid so I won’t ask him.

I need to make little bases for holding flower and balloon arrangements outside as decorations for tables. I need something fairly heavy so they don’t fall over. Can I use cement or concrete of some kind and which does the best job. I would like to fill little flower pots with the “cement” and then put small arrangements of balloons and flowers inside. These will be used for several occasions. What are your suggestions?

I have some flowers someone got me for doing a musical so I put them in the vace. So far I have been putting them in cold water. Is the water suppose to be room temperture or what? Also how can I make it so they live longer or how can I perserve them.

I want to buy some flowers as a gift for a sick lady who must stay in bed. And i would like them to last a long time! I asked a florist. He said any type will, if taken care of. But she won’t be able to change water or give it any Plant food!

I want to plant perenials this year but dont know where to start. I’m new at growing flowers outside and want easy to maintain, beautiful, hearty flowers that can withstand the north-west region( pictures and websites would be a plus).
